No one should be surprised that Marbury isn't going to accept a buy out. He thinks he's the savior so to get bought out and run away with his tail between his legs isn't the move.

Personally, I think this guy isnt going to change, be a cancer in the locker room and once again be an embarassment to himself, the Knicks, and New York City as a whole.

I'm one of the VERY few who think that Marbury could still be productive. If you look at his career numbers, they are similar to what Steve Nash's are, and that's with Nash playing with STAT, Marion, Dirk and Michael Finley. His numbers are WAY ahead of what Nash's were prior to being teamed with D'Antoni. Stephon is making too much money, but a lot of guys in the NBA are. I really believe that he could get 20-22 points and 10-12 assists per in the run and gun style that D'Antoni brings to the table

Birdman...why don't you tell me which team did well while he was on it first? When you can answer that, I'll answer your question.

Birdman...saying Marbury is not a cancer is idiotic as saying OJ's not a jealous ex or might do something crazy. Marbury loves his bank account above all and could care less about winning. losing, playing or sitting. As long as the checks cash, he's a happy guy

I hate selfish knicks who steal big bucks and quit on the team. Marbury should be ashamed of himself!

Sincerely,

Allan Houston
