An Eastern Conference executive said don’t be surprised if a notable trade or two is made during the preseason. We say keep an eye on Stephon Marbury, Nets forward Vince Carter, Heat forward Shawn Marion, Nuggets guard Allen Iverson, and Warriors forward Al Harrington.

Ah! The only team on that list that seems to have some kind of project are the Knicks - and I can’t believe I just said that - but they don’t have any assets to trade… I think they’d trade for anybody above mentioned except, well, so-called Starbury…
Al Harrington looks particulary fit for D’Antoni unless you see Marion in Gotham…
the nuggets were one core player away from an amazing team. If they can clear some of the under talented youth and bring in a veteran like marion they may have a chance. giving away AI is not the answer for this potential playoff team.
Vince Carter is not going to be traded because his contract expires before 2010. Marion will probably be traded to the West. Allen Iverson will probably be traded back East. Marbury will be probably traded for a 2nd Round Draft Pick in the West. And Harrington will stay with the Warriors.
i dont see harrington staying with the warriors ai back in the east with elton brand? its like when they had that robinson fellow there and marion idc where he goes marbary will retire and vince carter will just be picked up by some random team before they realize he has no hops and no game anymore
Marbury for Iverson? OK, I’m bored enough to make the suggestion however if you look at their contracts they actually work that it could be done straight up.
