Drogba might be on his way out of Chelsea

The fallout from Didier Drogba’s hilarious wild-eyed rant at referee Tom Henning Ovrebo continues to build.
The striker’s spectacular explosion following Chelsea’s Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona looks like having far-reaching consequences. Not only did the Ivorian make a fool out of himself (there’s something rather undignified about losing the plot wearing a pair of flip-flops – think angry holiday resort guest) but he is also set to be slapped with a hefty European ban. The length of any possible suspension is currently estimated at anything from six games to six months, but it was Drogba’s reaction in the dressing room after the match – and not on the pitch or in the tunnel – that will be of greater concern to Chelsea fans. Having unloaded his bile in Ovrebo’s face – and then to the television cameras – a still-fuming Drogba went on to let rip in the changing rooms over Guus Hiddink’s earlier decision to substitute him.
And the Sunday Express claims the outburst has “almost certainly ended any chance of (Drogba) staying at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer”.
The question remains, who is willing to take on a striker with a European ban considerably longer than his fuse?
